Immediate chiropractic care, rest, and ice with specific exercises were my saviors.
Tylenol has anti-inflamatories which also help.

One correction - tylenol is a pain killer that has no anti-inflammatory properties. For that you need to get ibuprophen, aleve, aspirin - an 'nsaid'.
