I am using used dryer sheets for my scrappy crazy quilt blocks. I think they work great but I was not sure how they would stand up to many washings. I sewed around the edges of one block so it would not ravel out and I throw it in the washer with every load. It has been washed at least 10 times and still looks like it did when I started. The smell disapeared after a couple washings
