Your quilt is gorgeous. I am so happy your PawPaw is doing so much better at that 4star facility. My mom had Alz. and passed away Nov. 2009. It is a very hard thing for everyone involved with a family member who has Alz. My father passed away in 2007 from cancer and I am thankful he didn't have to see Mom at her worst.
My first thought with the quilt washing...if you lived close enough...you should take charge of washing it, PawPaw might not get it back if the facility did the cleaning of it. However, you have confidence in that facility which is great.
