I'm gaining so much practical advice here about colors, patterns, and tools, that I feel like I know something already! Heartfelt thanks to the thread about cleaning a black pot. I thought I destroyed my favorite saucepan by brewing up a batch of cinnamon potpourri. The house smelled great, but I forgot to add water to it. Thanks to the thread about baking soda and Cascade, my pot looks brand new!
