That is a great idea, I had never thought of that with the dryer sheets. Do they make your quilt smell wonderful too!? ;) I have used fusible webbing, the Eleanor Burns way, and that works well too. The quilt is beautiful, and I cannot believe it was your first attempt at applique! ;)
