Yes, it took a while to line up the fabrics after I had taken the shirt to pieces. Then I had to find extra triangles here and there to make up each 8. Determined to use up the fabric as much as possible, I then cut all the small squares for the four patch blocks in the sashing. Lots of scraps left which I shall use somehow in the backing.
