Last night I went to LQS for the first of 2 mini mystery quilt sessions. First clue had to be done before first class. Lots of tiny pieces. Definite challenge for me. I prefer larger pieces.

Any way to my tale - I decided I wanted to make this in all purples. Well not enough pieces large enough in purple to do whole quilt. But I found a burgandy pansy print that I have loved, was saving for something special. This quilt has 4 colorways. I'm using the burgandy pansy print, a burgandy with white dots, a plae lavender 30s print and a deep purple. Best part only have to pay for class. I think I have something that will work for the back also. The colors have me excited, now if I can get thru 300 3" 1/2 sq triangles.. Challenge.

PS other students looked for quilt on line and could not find. It is a mystery. This is my first mystery.
