Has anyone read anything by Laura Benedict? I've read two of hers..."Isabella Moon" (excellent!) and "Calling Mr. Lonely Hearts" (strange & intense, but worth the read). I've always liked to read Earlene Fowler (she names one of her series after names of quilt blocks)...her best yet is titled "The Saddlemaker's Wife".
