I'm in a new book club at the local library. They are commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War and we are reading a different novel about that era each month for four months. I've already read 2 of the 4 books but ah well, I'll re-read them.
February's book is new, Song yet Sung by James McBride. It's wonderful. His writing is like music. I'd recommend this one and also his other book, The Color of Water. Fascinating!
