I've got three Pfaffs - my first one is about 15-20 years old, a very basic hobby model but works great without any bells and whistles. The second is about 10 years old -- I don't remember the model number but it is something like a 2146, 2046, - a quilter's model with the IDT. It had the needle threader which I liked until I broke it!! My new one is the Creative Vision 5.0 which is fantastic. It too has the needle threader, but I can thread the needle myself faster. Overall I would heartily recommend the Pfaffs to anyone. The IDT is fantastic and I've never had any problems with any of mine and I work them pretty hard.
