Yes, I used varigated...I LOVE the varigated threads.
BTW - the next quilt I'll be quilting is mine and it's APPLIQUED!!! ROL....yip, it's the one that made me decide I hate it!
Oh yes -- I did the "echoing", just not the appliqueing....(shudder). :) :)
