This is what I do...I have a 1260 Bernina that I piece on and a friend upgraded her embroidery machine and gave me her old one an Artista 165, which I have sitting next to my sewing machine. All I have to do is swivel my chair and change colors..etc. Works really nice. The 165 is also a sewing machine, so I have a back up to do piecing, if needed.
