usually we pre-wash the yardage when we first bring the fabric in...so the scraps are already pre=washed...if you were not worried about pre-washing when they were big peices i wouldn't worry about pre-washing the scraps from the yardage. but if you really feel you need to pre-wash scraps use a mesh bag or pillow case. this will help them not fray and tangle too much. be prepared to sit at the ironing board for awhile...put on some music and fix a cup of tea....ironing a basket full of scraps can be quite theraputic :thumbup:
