I ordered a Singer quilting machine a while back and was very disappointed. Other members on the QB had answered that they loved theirs. I sent mine back. Seems like you might have gotten a lemon. If a machine (ANY MACHINE) does not sew over basic patches (I'd think 2 double seams) it will probably give you nothing but frustration.
