I have been spray basting for about a year now, and prefer it over all other methods. I buy June Tailor w/ a coupon at Joann's (but did get to stock up last year when notions were 1/2 off and there was an additional 20% off entire purchase coupon -- I bought all 11 cans I could find in the store). Once basted, I let the quilt sit overnight to 'dry' and have never had problems w/ the needle getting gummed up.
