I have been looking for a treadle machine for a while now, but the treadle ones are not easy to find around here. On Saturday I finally got lucky and found one only about 15 minutes away! The top of the cabinet lid is in really bad shape due to water damage and I don't think it's salvageable so I'll probably have to replace it. The machine runs fairly well; it just needs a good cleaning and oiling and the belt needs to be tightened a little.

I think the paint is in the pheasant design, and as far as I can tell from the serial number, it was manufactured in Elizabeth, New Jersy in 1910. The paint is not in best shape, but it is still so pretty, and I'm so glad to finally have one!

Here are some photos.
