An elderly gentleman who lives in my community approached me with this proposition. He had his wife's sewing machine that she had bought and used since the 1950's. Since her death he's been giving away some of her things. His daughters and nieces didn't want the sewing machine. They prefer those "new fangled things". My DH and I went to his home to look at what he had to offer. Of course I brought her home.
I've named her Sweet Jeanne after his wife. Isn't she lovely? She only weighs 7 lbs. I know I lucked out with her but can anyone tell me if she is a feather weight? Hope you can view the pictures.
