This is my friendship Garden. Several friends and I collected flower prints for sometime and then swapped some of our "prized pieces". I made this with some pieces that also looked like watercolors, which were really special as they looked very much like some of the floral watercolors my mom would have painted. She passed away a year ago and this was my quilt in memory of her.... She loved flowers, and loved to paint them. I was very blessed and very close to her, we were fortunate that she was able to live with us the last 6 years, I miss her very much!!
