Found this Kaufmann fabric online while looking for something else...thought it would be perfect for my BIL who has a telescope and loves astronomy/space. I really like the way it turned out. No pattern, just made it up as I went along (although I admit I've seen a couple similar layouts on the board that did provide some inspiration).

As I'm not that good at FMQ yet, I did a wavy line across the major intersections, and scattered some tiny stars (various kinds) throughout the blocks.

Also a walker pocket for my MIL, and some cross-stitched bookmarks for both of them.

Mutti's walker pocket (already stuffed with some goodies). The reverse side has a single larger pocket.
