[quote=Diannia]Hi,
{I was recently diagnosed w/fibromyalgia. My dr. tested the 18 tender points and out of 18 I had 11 so she put me on Cymbalta. This was a couple of months ago and I've been feeling better but woke up today hurting worse than I have in a long time. My lower back and knees are extremely sore and even picking up a small binder on my desk hurt my arm. I ate a lot of chocolate yesterday and was wondering if choc aggrivates fibro? Any other foods I should be aware of???}
Actually I just read a study where people ate 4 squares of dark chocolate,(85%+cocao). This was done daily for 6 weeks.The people seemed to have lasting pain relief for some time after they stopped eating the dark chocolate daily. This was a double blind study. For some reason the additional 250 calories didn't cause a weight gain...maybe because they felt better and were more active!
