[quote=fatens]I am a new quilter and i have done simple, and intermediate level quilts, but i don't have the guts to try sewing 2 curved pcs...I can't even figure out how to sew the curved pc in a fan pattern (i started one btw and it is somewhere in one of my stashes;)

I just finished a quilt that the blocks were all quarter-circles (stack a deck quilt). Sewing curves isn't hard; I just hold the bottom piece in one hand and the top piece in the other. Stitch slowly, and maneuver the pieces as you go so that by the time they reach the needle, they are together. It's OK if they are not matching until that point. Sometime's it's necessary to stop with the needle down, lift the pressure foot, and begin again if it's a tight curve.
