Kathy, I will have to take pics of my batiks, they seem very similar to yours.
Do ya suppose we shop at ther same stores? :?
Quite a bit of mine is left over from DJ, and then I bought a pack of batik fat quarters, and another of fusions from Hancocks of Paducah. Then I also had a few in my stash that I can use. I'll try and take a pic today of mine all laid out. I think that these blocks only use small pieces, so I will end up cutting out little bits from lots of FQs, and I'll have even more left over.
In this book, its obvious that Aie has an enormouse collection, as lots of the blocks have a different fabric for each petal in a 'flower'. Not everyone will have so many, but this is where I think a scrappy version will come into its own. Equally, if each flower is done in the same fabric, I still think it will look really pretty, so this is one of the reasons I was particularly drawn to the design, because of its versatility.
