Thanks for that insight. I have made sure that the shirts I have chosen are still sturdy and not thread bare. Also, I think since the pieces are small and there will be a lot of stitching around them and also through them when I quilt that they will be okay. There is a lot to consider isn't it? But it's beginning to take shape and this whole process is exciting!
