For Raedar and Oldmountiancrafts.....

Ok...When I made the bag I didn't realize I was supposed to baste the sides of the bag to the pockets. The directions have you cut 2 side pieces and 2 side pockets. I am sure I am an idiot, but since it never mentioned the side pieces again, I thought they were just pieces in my left over pile!! The directions never mention the side pieces again, just the pockets. So I attached the pockets to the sides and they were too small. So, I removed them and basted the side pockets to the side pieces.

I also bought a 19 inch zipper...you need a 17 inch, which is not listed in the supply list. I just tucked the extra inside of the bag.

The directions have you marking many lines on the body of the bag. I used masking tape, wrote the letter of the line on the tape and also put an arrow pointing towards the side of the tape that was the correct measurement. I just pulled the tape away as I stitched. I got less confused this way..

The handle is pretty thick and was a little difficult for me to sew it to the bag. I used a jean needle and that seemed to help.

You guys may find this a very easy project...We all have our challenges. For some reason this was mine.

If I can help any please let me know. I really am glad I finished it, and I loved the fabrics.

Thanks again for all of your nice comments...Laura
