If it is a fabric that seems as though it would be really good for a border, such as a stripe, I buy about 2 1/2 yards. Of course, it also depends on the price. If a REALLY good sale (75% off) I buy more than I would normally.
Yeah,if I know that it would be a good border then I'll buy about 3 yards but other pieces I have such a hard time deciding on how much to get. :roll:
