Do they use miniature furniture & other props when taking photos of quilts for magazines? Why else would the pieced blocks and quilting stitches look so large - even when the sample quilt is draped over a sofa or chair? I know a 4 inch block doesn't show THAT much detail from a few feet away! I have always wondered about this - I used to crochet a lot and the stitches/rows looked so much bigger in the photos than mine would when I made the same item. Just curious.
