Looks like we are from the same neighborhood! I love your colors and your block looks great to me. My favorite teacher that I have ever had told us about the 10 foot rule. If you can't see it from 10 feet away it doesn't exist! She still gives classes at the Quilters Studio in Longmont. Her name is Donna Mae and she does a start to finish class that would be great for you. Everyone at the shop is very friendly and helpful. Also go online and look up the Quilt quild in Fort Collins I think it is The League of Northern Colorado Quilters. They have a program where they pair and new quilter with an experienced quilter to help them with any questions or problems they might have with their projects.
