This is a good method but I hate cutting squares with those little measurements so I change them to 5" and 6.5. Then when I have the square made, I square it up to the required size and that way I have some room for errors in sewing.

This Pinwheel project is just the thing for me. I already have a good start on mine. Just need to make it bigger as I want it for a summer quilt for our queen bed. If I join, perhaps I can have it done by summer of '12. :-) Here's my start...
