Some ladies asked me the name of a pattern which I used for my scrappy quilt - http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-96411-1.htm
Sorry, I don't remember (don't know :-D ) the exact name, therefore have decided to show more close the basic details of that quilt.
At first it is necessary to cut many-many multi-colored squares.
I used a lot of 3-inch squares and many 5.5" squares a from a background fabric for the secondary block.
First block is Four Patch block, secondary block is Indian Hatchet block.
I sewed Indian Hatchet block as B.Hunter, she has told about this block in detail here (I used other sizes - 3 and 5,5 inches) - http://quiltville.com/smokeymtstars.shtml

Then I have connected these blocks together on four and so on... :)
