Well, they say you learn something new everyday. I never heard of 2 or 3 threads off 1/4 inch. The 1/4 inch foot is good enough for me! Agree wwith those who said quilting is supposed to be fun not frustrating. Made 22 quilts last year for kids and grandkids for Christmas. None of them perfect but all appreciated.
