My younger son just came over and told us that he and his girl are engaged!!! They have been living together, but I figured if it was right, it would happen.
No dates yet, or even ring...
I found my pearl ring, that my husband bought me while on our honeymoon. We opened 2 oysters and then had them set into pretty ring with 2 little chips of diamonds.
He is thrilled that he has a ring to give her today...and I know that she will like it. It will do until they have a chance to get one....
Got to go and try to make myself look a bit better...being sick has made me look worse than normal...
Ordering pizza....but I did put a bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge and got out my Mom's crystal champagne glasses...Just wish I could have Mom & Dad over tonight, too...
