My mom is NOT a seamstress of any sort, but she told me she remembers her grandmother sewing on a treadle and she thinks they are so pretty. So, I decided to buy this one for her with the hopes of igniting a little spark of interest in quilting. If she doesn't want it, I'll be happy to find a home for it somewhere within my own home. Either scenerio is good!
