Unfortunately osteoarthritis is caused by joint damage, and it occurs in individual joints. You can have a knee replaced, and your pain will go away after you heal, but until the damage is repaired you will continue having pain, and it will get worse. Maybe consider that...my 2 co-workers have had both knees replaced and are now doing wonderfully!! Better than new.

I have rheumatoid arthritis, and have been taking traditional treatment for it (Remicade and methotrexate). Some people take steroids for it, but I said No. Anyway I started an alternative treatment, and I'm feeling pretty good after only 1 week. Steroids are NOT good!!! Not long term, anyway!
