I'm cutting another at the moment. It uses a layer cake + plus some extra. Cut the layer cake to 8 x 10 and then use an 8" dresden plate template. You can get 3 triangles from. It's 20 across and 8 rows. Cut to square up and add a 5" border.
Is the extra fabric for the end cuts and then the border? How much to finish the end of the rows?
