We lost our younger son on May 15, 2005, four days after Mother's Day. His son was born three months later. He used to give me sunflower gifts so I, too love sunflowers. I have a small quilt made of sunflowers, but I really love yours. I won't ever recover from losing him, he was our golden boy, so gifted and loved by all. I will be making a quilt from his shirts, when I can go through his things. I have made two quilts for his son. He knows he has a Daddy in heaven. I may use your pattern, it is so stunning.
