My town has about 160,000 individuals. We are large, population-wise, but we still espouse small town values. We have several colleges here, we are the 3rd largest school district in the state, we have 2 Hobby Lobby's, 1 Joann's, Haik's Wholesale Fabric, Farmer's Market Fabric Store, Fabric Outlet, several Walmart's that still have fabric Merrily We Quilt Along Quilt Shoppe, The Quilt Sampler, and Hancock's. We are about 35 minutes north of Branson, you can be one a lake within 1 hour's drive in any direction you travel. We have lots of churches and have a diverse religious group from B'hai, Buddhism, Muslim, Baptist, Catholic, Salvation Army, Presbyterian, Episcopilan, Methodist, Latter Day Saints, Evangelical Christian, non-denomenational, you name it we have it here. I was born here but not raised here but I truly love Springfield.
