I wish I were close enough to help you out...
If you are going to straight line quilt it on your machine, I would reccomend you get a walking foot, and who knows,
you might like it enough to do it again.
Another thing, though, if you are going to do it on your machine, you will need to pin baste it.. so you will also need a LARGE quantity of safty pins..
and pin the layers together every two to three inches apart .
When you are pinning, be sure to put the pins where you dont plan to sew...so you dont have to stop and take them out all the time..
Also, put the pins in first and come back and close them .. so you dont distort the backing.. Pin a section, close them up, then move to another section,
Be sure everything is laying flat, no puckers, before you pin...
