I tied some moth balls in panty hose & tied it to the fence where they always went to get to the bird feeder. Well , one day I was watching my birds & here comes a cat & rubs her whole body all over the moth balls. It seemed like she loved to smell like them. I pity the people where she lived. Must have smelled awful. So I gave up that idea. The prickly stuff works best for me.
