I just bought a Singer Red Eye 66 (born 1916) am wondering what I should use to clean her exterior without harming the decals. Also, what is recommended for polishing off the rusty corrosion on the hand wheel? The end plate looks pretty good, but I'd like to shine that up a bit too. I have consulted the web and found different opinions. Since I know a lot of you have a beautiful and cherished vintage machine, I figured you may be a more reliable source. I heard there is a tutorial here on this subject, so I'll look into this. Just thought I would gather all info I can before I do something unintentional but irreversible to my new girl. Thanks.
