Thank you to all who responded. I used some of your ideas and solved the problem.
This what I did - what worked and what didn't. Keep in mind that the Heirloom wool batting is large 120 x 120 so what may have worked for smaller sizes didn't work for me. The creases were very sharp and hard from being packaged so tightly.
1. Put it in the dryer on tumble. Nothing.
2. Put it in the dryer on low heat with a damp towel for about 5 minutes. Nothing except for the fact that there was some yellowing and compressing of the bat where the damp towel probably touched the batting. I wouldn't recommend this at all. Maybe for cotton but not for wool.
3. Tried my clothes steamer on the creases. There wasn't enough steam and it was uneven. Took way too long.
4. Solution: My dining room table is almost long enough to spread the batting on. Section by section, I misted it all over with a spray bottle of water trying to be consistent. I figured if it's going to shrink I want to shrink consistently. Then I used the hairdryer (first on low - then on high) and patted out the creases while drying. When I finished I draped it over a bed so it could dry completely. Seems to be fine.
