I have them as a newsletter instead of subscription but hopefully what you want is the same.
I Google Fons & Porter then click on the Love of Quilting link. On that first page I click Login (upper right) then type in my email and password and Enter. Once that page refreshes I can click on Online Extras and slide down to free designs.
Sometimes I've had to log in twice. And yes their customer service is horrid.
