I have seen lots of tube quilts here mad with 4= strips. I make mine with 3 strips. 2 are equal.
A= 3" (cut size)
B= 3"
C= 5.5"
Sew Strip A to B. Reverse directions. Sew B to C
Sew A to C, with the right side of the fabric on the inside of the tube.

You cut lining up the 45* marker on your ruler with the outer seam, then reverse and cut from the opposite side. You will get 2 different square blocks, which you can use various ways.
