I do my own quilting on an old Brother (1963 year mom bought it.) It is in a cabinet which the top gives an area for the quilt to stretch out. I do free hand designs and really enjoy doing so, however, a longarm would be a luxury for sure.
The part I trully enjoy is designing. The creative juices can flow until something jumps up and says "Me, Me, do Me!"
