I would not recommend the Oliso...My son gave me one for Christmas 3 years ago, had to send it back, and the 2nd one gave me problems as well..and it bit the dust here about 5 months ago...Way to expensive to have such a short life......Plus I've known three other people that had the same complaints as me....I'm interested to see what others recommend as well...

I had problems with my Oliso iron also & the co refused to do anything about it! They said they needed to see a copy of the receipt before they could honor the warranty. I am not in the habit of keeping receipts for stuff I buy at a quilt store or show so I was not able to provide that. In my opinion that should have had no bearing on honoring the warranty whatsoever. What if it had been given to me as a gift? Mine would suddenly go up & down several times & then stay down. A co-worker said it must have started having seizures! Never again would I ever buy anything from that company!
