I have a little baby quilt top that I embroidered when I was in grammer school and colored with crayons and heat set them and the color is still there and I am almost 71 years old. I have faded lots more than they have. LOL
Your quilt is beautiful and the kitty just set it off. Of course, I'm partial to kitties anyway. Someone will really treasure that quilt. Thanks for sharing.
