I've been fighting buying one of these and am afraid I won't take the extra seconds it would take to put it on before I cut but I think I better reconsider before I, too, end up shortening a finger like her and so many others. Hugs to you so you heal quickly. I feel your pain; I did something very similar about 15 years ago with a kitchen knife and chicken! still have a little bump there and will always be there.
