I purchased a pattern, fabric, cut my fabric with scissors. Then I sewed and ripped, sewed and ripped til I got it right. Then I hand quilted the bear paw wall hanging and binded it according to a book and the rest is history. Btw that was the only thing I ever hand quilted. Now I have the whole works of stash, notions, 5 sewing machines, 1 embroidery machine and a Nolting long-arm. I am blessed.
