A dear friend taught me 17 years ago - I was pregnant with my youngest child. Our husbands were all deployed on a navy submarine and she held classes at her home (for free) during that 6 months for any wives interested. In that time she taught us the basics along with hand quilting.
Since then over the years I've taken a few classes here and there - I'm always game for that!
