Lovely and wonderful colors. How fortunate you are to have it to cherish and enjoy her work. I'll bet she is smiling to see it finished.
I have a similar project to finish for a dear friend: She was making a buzz light year quilt for her grandsons, and died from complications from breast CA before she could finish it. I cared for her the last few weeks, and she asked me to finish it for the boys.
What is the last photo? Looks like a quilt with chenille....really nice. Please post it when finished and let me know how that worked out. Never tried adding chenille except in a baby quilt.
