You don't have to say anything to her. Your SIL will have her own opinions and nothing you can do or say will probably change them. What you have to realize is she is throwing out garbage. You have to decide if you want to accept her garbage or not. My suggestion is not to accept it.
And when you have time, and money, make her a quilt. Or make her one out of those old clothes.
